The Festival of Classic & Sports Cars

The Helmingham Festival of Classic and Sports Cars is a wonderful day out for car enthusiasts and the whole family. Every year there is an amazing range of exhibiting vehicles displayed in front of the magnificent, moated Helmingham Hall, surrounded by the ancient deer park and the Grade 1 Listed Gardens.

Held in association with the Suffolk Vehicle Enthusiasts Club (SVEC), the 2023 event had an attendance of over 1,100 exhibiting cars and over 8,000 people enjoyed displays in the main ring, trade & craft stalls, live music, the Grade I Listed Gardens & great local food & drink stalls. Fantastically, attendees last year helped us raise £5,000 for the charity EACH (East Anglia’s Children’s Hospice) and with your help we would love to repeat or better this in 2024.

Dress to Impress!
Do you own a classic vehicle and want to show how you would have dressed in that era? Then why not come along in your car wearing your vintage fashion and display all that was great from that time period. We will be running a competition for the ‘best dressed’ and would like to see a range of participants displaying styles from throughout the years – from demob suits, full skirts and petticoats to flares, we’d love to see you dress to impress.

General Classic and Sports Car Exhibitor

The Classic & Sports Car Park will be limited to those cars and sports saloons first registered before the end of 1998. Sports Cars will be exempt from this limitation. 
For this year’s event we will be parking Classic and Sports Car exhibitors into vehicle year parking zones, to help show each vehicle at its best. There will be an award for the best vehicle in each era.

Early Entry booking Rate for bookings received before 31st March 2024
£10.00 per car (2 occupants) parking in the Classic Car Park -Entry to Helmingham Hall Grade 1 Listed Gardens 
Additional passenger tickets are available to add to your booking at £10.00 per adult and £5.00 per child

Pre-registrations received from 1st April 2024
£12.00 per car (2 occupants) parking in the Classic Car Park -Entry to Helmingham Hall Grade 1 Listed Gardens 
Additional passenger tickets are available to add to your booking at £10.00 per adult and £5.00 per child

This includes:
-Entry in the ‘Overall Show Winner’ draw .  
-Entry to Helmingham Hall Grade 1 Listed Gardens 
-No gazebos or car club stands permitted in option 2.
